Colin Walker, “I hope you enjoy a little bit of magic”. I’ve been enjoying performing it for approximately 20 years now. I honestly never had any interest in magic at all. I had never imagined that I’d actually make a living out of something so enjoyable and diverse.
My daughter was at a birthday party when she was 5 years old. She came home and told me that it has been very boring. She told me that there had been a magician entertaining them and that she wasn’t very impressed. I laughed and told her that I’d try it out myself. I havnt looked back since. I love this job and would recommend it to anyone.
Today and throughout the last twenty years my audience have mostly been kids. I hope that my performances brings the child out in us all. The most important part of my own brand of magic is not just in the illusions but in making people laugh. I love buying new tricks on a regular basis and get very excited when that parcel arrives. I hope I can excite, amaze and amuse you tonight and I would you encourage you all to look for the magic in every aspect of life.
