Brendan Gormley. 13083301_889394394519636_3722236967476250478_n
Though singing for over 40 years, Brendan has always treated singing as a great honour. From a boy soprano to an adult tenor, he enjoys all types of music. His greatest love would have to be musical theatre, though anything from the “rat pack” will always be a winner. With this showcase there will be a mix of new and old popular songs. Brendan has studied singing at the Irish collage of music and has more recently worked with SONG in Dundalk, and with such local groups as the Castleblayney Players, Castleblayney Musical Society, Muckno Singers, and the Blayney Tenors. He is currently working on “The Sound of Music” with Iontas Theatre. With this showcase there will be a mix of new and old popular songs and it sounds like we are in for a treat!

Denise is a visual artist from Co. Monaghan. Denise’s practice stems from an interest in an investigation of drawing, the processes involved and the histories associated within it. She creates experimental procedures to introduce controlled chance and unpredictability in her work. Denise wants to push the medium of drawing to new extremes, questioning the definition of drawing today. Denise is based at D32 Studio & Gallery in Drumhowan and is officially opening D32 Studio & Gallery on Sat the 14th of May @8pm. Promises to be a very informative presentation.

Recently she is a member of the Oriel Singers – a local choir which performs in local venues and they recently had a ten year celebration concert in the Garage Theatre. This will be a real treat…
